Interior design has always been a passion of mine. I took a traditional route through school, graduating from St Lawrence University with a degree in economics and French and building a successful career in market research. Yet the time came when I could no longer ignore the fact that my true passion was in design. So while working full-time and raising a family, I went to the Harrington College of Design for a degree in interior design. It was that experience that solidified for me, design was my future. It also helped sustain me through countless long nights of study after my kids were in bed. 

After spending over a decade studying the way people around the world shop and consume and having lived abroad myself, I bring an international perspective to the work I do with my clients. This allows me to expose them to new thinking and design ideas they would not have considered otherwise. I am committed to continuously developing my ability and am a voracious consumer of the work of other designers. I am also a certified True Color Expert which is a unique process for identifying the perfect color palettes for walls, furniture and hard furnishings.  

I am focused on creating beautiful custom spaces that meet the needs of busy families and individuals. Beauty is definitely in the detail when it comes to design, however, I also believe in the power of living in an organized, functional space void of visual clutter. As the mother of 4 children, I’ve learned the importance of having a system. Whether a space is small or large it’s important to first identify a rooms purpose and create a space that not only represents the individual but also serves as a retreat from the outside world. Creating spaces where families can play and entertain while also being able to transform to a well organized calming space is the central goal.

Lets face it, we're all busy and there's nothing like the comfort of coming home or being home in a beautiful functional space that's well organized and unique. Yet it takes time to achieve this. That’s where I come in, not only will I save you time but when we’re done you’ll be left with a space that feels unique.
